Ian M. Contard's Obituary
Ian M. Contard, 44, of Liverpool, passed away June 5, 2023 at Upstate University Hospital. He was born in Marshalltown, Iowa and served in the U.S. Army. Ian worked as a chef at many local establishments in the CNY area, most recently at Parkrose Estates. He enjoyed golfing, and traveling, especially his visits to NYC. Ian also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
He was predeceased by his mother, Margaret Contard in 2015, his father, Christopher Contard in 2022 and his nephew, Timothy Contard.
Ian is survived by his brother, Christopher (Ellen) Contard, Jr. of Colorado and his sister, Amanda Contard of Liverpool; six nieces and nephews, Jakob Lazzaro, Jordan, Nora, Alex, Annabelle and Trinity Contard; his best friend, Robert (Robin) Toro II and their children, Francesca and Isabella, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, June 9, 2023 from 4:00 – 6:30 pm, immediately followed by a funeral service in celebration of Ian’s life at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
