I have been friends with Ida for over 53 years. When I lived in the Syracuse area Ida and I spent a lot of time together. We cried together, laughed together and prayed together. We went out to dinner often, had dinner at my home & hers. Ida made a sweater, booties and a hat that I brought my first born son Steven home from the hospital in & 21 months later brought my daughter Nicole home in. For years New Years Eve was at our home. We'd have dinner by candle light at midnight and play cards until the wee hours of the morning. When I met my husband Raymond he and Ida became fast friends and as couples we were inseparable. Ida was the best friend ever. We were there for each other in the good times and the bad. I will always have a special room for Ida in my heart of hearts because that's where I keep my valuables.
I loved her more than mere words could ever express.
