James M. Holmes, 68, of Liverpool, passed away suddenly on Monday. Born in Augusta, GA., James was a life resident of the Syracuse area. He served in the United States Marines during the Vietnam war, receiving the Purple Heart and Read Obituary

We feel your sense of loss! Jim helped coach 8-10 year old boys with me, he was always there, a man you could count on, and he enjoyed , supported the kids. We had an un-written rule, all the kids played no matter their skills or lack thereof. We are so sorry for your sudden loss.

I am so sorry for your loss, your shock , the void in your life.......Jim always had a smile and was always kind to Frank and I ....he was Frank's new BFF .....that is all he keeps saying.......He was good to Frani and Ava and that meant the world to Frank ......He got it....the crazy way of all of us getting along............We will keep you close to hearts and prayers right now and hope that God will comfort you through this difficult time, I can't imagine the loss...........you will be together again in a Paradise that won't have anymore of this world's pain and suffering , that you can look forward to..........
