Joey Storto, 42, of Syracuse, (native of Oswego) passed away Wednesday after a long and hard fought battle with cancer. Joey was at home surrounded by loving family when God called him home. Joey loved NASCAR. His idol was Tony S Read Obituary

Joey and I go way back to first grade at Holy Trinity. He was the sweetest and kindest friend.. He was so adorable back then.. We lost touch as the years went on. Then we met back up on Facebook. It was great to see him once again and talk about the old days. I'm saddened by the loss of him.. He was a great guy. I will miss him. Now you can rest in peace Joey. God bless the family during this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Till we meet again my friend.

Oh Joey..I have so many memories of you. From childhood on up. You always lit up the room when you walked in. Always full of jokes and laughter whenever you came around. We used to sit at the table and laugh our butts off! We would always say..yep, he's still the same Joey.
I remember when your father used to come and pick me up for weekends and you would make me sign my autograph on paper for you..because you would always tell me how beautiful I was and will be Miss America one day! I used to laugh and call you crazy..
The memories I have of you I will cherish forever until we meet again!
