Jack and I have been neighbors on Pt Peninsula for decades. I first met Jack one summer weekend when he stopped at my cottage and asked if I lost a canoe. A storm had blown away our treasured Grumman canoe a couple of weeks earlier and we considered it gone forever. It had washed up on his shore and he started asking questions. Sure enough he tracked me down. I learned later that he was a police officer in Syracuse; he should have been a detective. Great guy who will be missed. Thanks for the memories, Jack.

I have very fond memories of Mr Bozzuto ,during my childhood.
Pulling up on his white SPD ,3 and 2 wheel HD motorcycle‘s.
Ice fishing on Oneida ,and Sandy Pond. Spending time at Greenpoint.
He was a good role model for our neighborhood.

Back in the early 90's, I worked at the Eastwood Office of Syracuse Savings Bank. A couple came in at sat at my desk. I said "Officer Bozzuto, I remember you, you gave me my first speeding ticket on Grant Blvd." His wife in turn said to her husband "What did you do that for?" We all had a good laugh. You always remember your first ticket! When I saw Mr. Bozzuto's obit, I remembered that day long ago. I watched the video, as you learn a lot seeing photos of ones life. Looks like he had a nice family and a nice life. My sympathy to his family.

Theresa ,please add my name to the many that have worked with and really knew John going back to his early years on the Police Department We marched in the parade and even had a beer or two from time to time.That was only because Mary and Tad had that watering hole at Sandy pond .He will be missed but always be remembered for the great guy he was.
