John A. Endieveri's Obituary
John A. Endieveri, 93, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Saturday, February 21, 2015. He was born in Syracuse and served with the U.S. Army during WWII. John was employed in the Research Department with Bristol Laboratories for 30 years. He was an avid NY Yankees fan. John loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping and fishing. He had a “great sense of humor” and will be dearly missed.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Virginia (Corso) Endieveri; his parents, Anthony and Laura (DeLuna) Endieveri; brothers, Santo and Frank Endieveri; sisters, Lena Cirando, Josephine Bracca and Victoria Maiorano.
John is survived by his wife, Clementine M. (DeRose) Endieveri; his children, Anthony J. Endieveri of Houston, TX, Diane M. (Reed) Bogardus of Liverpool and John C. (Lisa Mann) Endieveri of California; his two step-children, Joanne C. Wilson of Fayetteville and Josephine A. (Gerd) Henjes of Lafayette; three grandchildren, Santo, Mason and Maxine Endieveri; four step-grandchildren; four step great-grandchildren; his brother, James (Jean) Endieveri of Syracuse; four sisters, Elizabeth Longo of Syracuse, Ursaline Spencer of Syracuse, Rose Witkowski of Liverpool and Frances (Victor) Pelosi of Syracuse, along with many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service in celebration of John’s life will be held at 1:30 pm on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may call from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
