You do not know me, but I went to school with and graduated your Dad Bob "Bato" Fiori - Class of 1964. I lived up the street on Alice Ave., also and we were great friends, as is our whole class. I waited a couple days to write this because of the impact John's passing has had on me emotionally and eternally. There are some things in life that aren't worth trying to understand and this is one of them.
John was one of those individuals who was comfortable in any environment. We shared a couple of things in common which is why I think we related to each other. It was clear when he spoke of his family that they were his number one and that he loved them very much. He always had an entertaining story relating to his family (or a swim teacher). In Detroit my family knew him has the "You can't go wrong with Michael Jackson guy"! The golf league knew him as " The push up guy" and when it came to work he was John #1. All of these names had stories to them and that is what John always brought to the table. He loved life and the cards he had been dealt but to me John was a person who I did not have enough time with and the worst part is I didn't realize it until it was too late.
