I have known John through business for about 25 yrs., seeing each other at Pedorthic Shows and Shoe Shows. We had dinner with fellow Travelers several times at a show this past winter in London Ont., On one occasion we had a very attentive young waitress,
who, as we were her only customers, looked after us well. She happened to mention an earlier customer who had left without paying, and she was stuck with a $20. bill. After we had paid, I happened to notice John had left her, quietly, an extra $20., that was John.
He was a congenial, helpful, Well Respected Shoe Traveler, by both his customers and fellow representatives.
The Shoe Industry has lost a Great Ambassador, and the Tan, you can't forget John's Tan. My Deepest Condolences to his Family.
