John Anthony “Stags” Stagnitta, 77, of Liverpool, passed away June 1, 2025. He was born on the Northside of Syracuse, son of the late James and Lucy (Delpriore) Stagnitta. John retired from Crane Hogan and was a member of Laborers Read Obituary
Stags always made us laugh so hard that we couldn't even breathe! Each time we all got together at Dickie Pullano's house Stags was always the life of the party. We are so saddened to hear of his passing and our prayers are with his family. No one could light up a place like Stags could. He will be missed a great deal. May God grant him eternal rest.

When I graduated kindergarten at Pompei, John was in first grade. John and Gerard Sabatino (r.i.p.) held up the blue and gold banner in our class picture. During recent years I would mention that and he would give me a hug and we’d laugh about that event now, 70 years ago.
John was in our home many times like family. He would come over with my Aunt Anna for many occasions or just to play cards. He will be missed. Our sympathies to your family.
