Joseph “Joe” Stagnitta, 97, formerly of 907 North Townsend Street passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 18, 2018. Joe was born to Francisco and Egidia Stagnitta in Linguaglossa, Sicily on January 24, 1921. He immigrated to Read Obituary

Some of my fondest memories as a child was when Dad would come to town and we would come visit you at Stagnitta music . You always made me laugh and made me feel welcome. I always managed to leave the store with a mini harmonica or some sort of musical instrument. You were great inspiration and mentor to my father growing up and will be missed by both of us . Mr. Stagnitta was a big reason the community was such a great place. We were blessed to have him in Syracuse.
