Julie and Katie, I was so sorry to hear about your mom passing. I have known her since Julie was in first grade! I worked with Joanne at the Town of Salina for many years. We became friends and frequently went out to breakfast together. She was always so sweet and caring. I was lucky enough to see her and say "goodbye"... As she was falling in and out of sleep, she asked about my family. That's the kind of woman she was. A gentle, loving, kind soul. I met Josephine about 25 years ago at her favorite place to go which was to get her hair done with Joseph at the Carriage House Salon every Friday morning 730 am! I got the pleasure of knowing her and seeing her! She was always so full of life and happiness! Love talking and being around family and friends! She was definitely one of a kind and will be missed! ❤️
When I first met Joanne a few years ago I met a womanwho was passionate about her family and friends. Always a smile, always concern for the other person, genuine love was felt. I didn't know her for many many years as I live next door to one of her long time friends (the ladies brought me into their group); but she treated me, as they all did (and do) as if I had been around Joanne and the rest of the ladies for years).
I feel proud to have known this amazing woman and will try to live my life with the influences she left behind-kindness, love, caring and concern for our fellow man. I will miss you Joanne, God has you now and we can all feel happy you are up there looking out for all,of us. Peace is now with you my friend.💕💕💕
