Josephine A. "Joanne" (Caiello) McCabe's Obituary
Josephine A. “Joanne” (Caiello) McCabe, 81, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on January 9, 2020. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late Frank and Marie (Butler) Caiello. Joanne worked at the Town of Salina for over 42 dedicated years. She was a longtime communicant of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. Joanne enjoyed playing Bunko and had a great love for the Christmas season, most of all, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
She is predeceased by her husband, Thomas J. McCabe in 1994 and her brother, Frank Caiello. Joanne is survived by two daughters, Julie (Ed) McCarthy and Katie Rose (Jim Alexander); grandchildren, Eddie, Amanda, Colleen, Donovan and Madison; her sister, Karen Pavia; her best friend, Margaret Manitta; son-in-law, Jason Rose, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 am on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Joanne’s life at 10:30 am in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. Entombment will take place at Woodlawn Mausoleum. Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
