Joyce (Harrington) Cirrito, 84, of Liverpool, passed away June 15, 2023. She was the daughter of the late William and Alice (Shew) Harrington, and grew up in Philadelphia, PA, and Canisteo, NY. Joyce was valedictorian of her grad Read Obituary
Joyce was a friend for many years. We worked together for a Regional Childbirth conference for about 20 years and at St. Joe's. I recently saw her at Wegmans and we had a great time reminiscing about the 'good old days.' You had a remarkable nursing career, Joyce. I was truly blessed to know you. Rest in peace. Faith

I remember Professor Cirrito with great fondness during my pediatrics rotation at Syracuse University School of Nursing . She was supportive , knowledgeable and caring as a nursing instructor. I am sad to read of her passing. It seems as though she led a full life .

I had a wonderful conversation with Joyce recently. We talked about books (we both love David Baldacci), her recent trip to Maine, the theater, etc. She was so excited about going to see Evita. We talked and laughed. She invited me to stop over some time to talk about books. Said she wasn't a coffee drinker, but we could have some tea. So glad we had that conversation, but unfortunately it will make me miss her more. She was a wonderful neighbor. My heart goes out to Rudy and Karen. Hugs.
