Karen was such a kind woman. When my daughter started Kindergarten with her daughter, she was one of the first people to reach out to me and arrange a playdate. I enjoyed many lunches and play-dates with her. She worked tirelessly to help with the homeless camps around our city. I was so saddened when I heard of her passing.
