Jeff, Steve and I were deeply saddened to hear Kathy passed away. She was a wonderful person, full of energy, and always smiling. Dear Downes and McCabe-Crouse familys,
I went to high school at St. Anthonys with Kathy and graduated with her. Although it has been forty three years since I've had any contact with Kathy, I've never forgot what a genuine, honest and caring person she was. We had many wonderful times we shared during our high school days which I will never forget. I offer you my deepest sympathies and condolences on the passing of Kathy. "May God have left a horse...so she would not have to walk all the way to heaven"!
I served on the board of Ophelia’s place with Kathy. I am deeply saddened and pray for her family during their time of loss.

I very much enjoyed working with her, at Crawford & Company, several years ago. “Grit and compassion/strength and vulnerability” and “natural leader”...these words all perfectly describe her.
