Please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of your mother. I went to school with Kathy and your father Gary. (class of "61'). Kathy was pretty and well-liked in school. R.I.P. Kathy, you've earned it. Now your parents are together again.
I am so heartbroken to hear of Kathy's passing. She was a true fighter. We worked together at Chase for many years & had so many great times together. I always looked forward to seeing her. We always shared our experiences with The Grammy & Academy awards! I have so many good memories of her. I can never forget the time we went out for Halloween. We were dancing & I lost my contact lense. Here we were, dressed for Halloween, on the floor looking for a contact lense! We laughed about this often. I enjoyed seeing her at Onondaga Lake when she walking with her sisters. Rest in peace, Kathy. I won't know where to send my "review" of the Academy awards.

So sorry to hear the news of Kathys passing. I worked with her for many years at Chase and shared quite a few Fridays after work Happy Hours with her and others. She was the sweetest person, always happy and smiling. My heartfelt condolences to all family and friends of this wonderful angel.
I am very sad to read of the passing of Kathy. She was a co-worker and friend for many years when we worked for Chase Manhattan Bank. Although we lost touch with each other over the years, I still count Kathy as a true friend. To the Rice and O'Conner families, I am so sorry for your loss. Kathy will be missed by many former co-workers at Chase.
My heart is very heavy. I am so sorry to hear of my dear friends passing. So many great memories of party in the plaza, the hotel Syracuse and so much more. She was such a beautiful lady with a big heart. I will always cherish our friendship. We shared many similar feelings but I was a bit more vocal than Kathy was. Even when she got sick and was worried about how the treatments could cause her hair to fall out, I totally understood how she felt . We would see each other in the bathroom upon arriving at work to fix our hair with a can of hairspray.

Mrs. Rice/Debbie’s mom (as she will always be to me) was so unlike other moms I knew. She worked! She spoke to us like adults! She was funny- I think the first time I met her I asked how she was , and she was in the kitchen, drinking a Tab soda (she was still trying to look good!) and she told me the exact number of days and hours it had been since she quit smoking. “ I loved how Debbie did fun things with her mom as Deb became an adult. I know Mrs. Rice will be very missed by her daughters and family.
One of my favorite people. Loved by everyone in our family. She always stood up for me. I spent so much time with her Gary and the girls before I left Syracuse I am saddened by her passing but hope to see her soon
