My deepest sympathy to Kim's family and friends. My memories of her are during my years at the Parish Post Office. It was such a pleasure to wait on her, she had a way of just making you feel good. She always looked so sharp and pretty. I always thought of her as being a Godly Beacon, never knowing she was a Rev. Later after retiring I saw her a couple of times at Chick Fil A and felt that same special feeling of warmth and caring. I'm quite sure she is looking over all who knew her.

Kim, David and their families have always been a big part of our family gatherings and Holidays. So much so that many of my grandchildren have their own "Kim Memories"..her energy, enthusiasm, her great food and of course her not quiet competitiveness. Our family is now sharing those memories and for all of us they will be part of us for generations. We are so grateful as there is no greater gift than this deep bond we have shared.

In comes Kim and the whole world lights up! Never seen anything like it. So much love, light, laughter and spunk in one beautiful human being. I am sure she is rocking it in heaven. They have no idea who they are dealing with...well maybe they do and that is why she was brought home. They wanted to share her beautiful light with the entire universe. Kim always knew how to make others feel welcome. Her southern hospitality, warm smile and infectious laugh are some of the many things we will always remember. Fond memories of the many get togethers sharing her incredible cooking, playing board games, sharing favorite movies and having lots of laughs. Her ability to keep the Wardell boys in check, including Bruce, with her sense of humor was one of her many talents. Above all else, Kim was an incredible mom and wife and raised an amazing family. She will be greatly missed by all of us and we are so incredibly thankful to have had her in our family. With her caring and motherly personality, she will continue to watch over those she loves and cares for from above. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.
