Laura Marra's Obituary
Laura Marra, 90, passed away peacefully at Loretto Nursing Home on February 20, 2016. Laura previously lived at Buckley Landing in North Syracuse where she had many friends among the staff and residents and participated in numerous activities. For most of her adult life Laura lived in Syracuse and New York City with her sister Margaret Marra. She enjoyed attending family events and holidays--usually held at her sister Santa (Marra) Banach’s house.
Laura was fourth youngest of Antonio and Pasqua (Gringeri) Marra’s twelve children. She is survived by her youngest brother, Nate Marra of Cicero and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass in celebration of Laura’s life will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church. Entombment will follow at Assumption Cemetery Mausoleum.
