Larry and I grew up together in Carle Place, L.I. We attended St. Brigid’s Grammar School as well as Carle Place HS . We were lifelong best friends. In the summers of 1967-1969 we worked together delivering beer In the NY metropolitan area. Larry was the truck driver and I was the helper. We had the time of our lives driving into Manhattan every day as we harmonized all of The Bee Gees greatest hits. We were a great team and it was a time in our that I will never forget. In late 1979 I was transferred to Syracuse with my job. Believe it or not Susan and I bought a house right next to Larry. That began chapter 2 of our friendship and it all centered around playing racquetball! We played at every opportunity, countless games and, years later we would argue who won the most games! Thinking back I can still remember our daughter playing in the backyard with Lindsay. It was another year I would never forget.
My friend Larry was a good man , loyal, caring, hardworking and of course funny! I know he will be missed by his family and friends. We send our love and prayers from Minneapolis to the entire Luckwaldt family. Brian and Susan Hussey
