Lawrence "Larry" Luckwaldt's Obituary
Lawrence “Larry” Luckwaldt, 72, of Fayetteville, passed away Thursday, August 22, 2019 at Crouse Hospital. Larry was a native of Long Island, NY and moved to Syracuse after graduating from Niagara University. Larry is a retired proud Co-Owner of Dinosaur BBQ Restaurants. Larry will be remembered by all who loved him as “The Life of the Party”; no one could tell a story quite like he could!
He is predeceased by his parents, Herbert and Catherine (Nolan) Luckwaldt and his brother, Herbert Luckwaldt, Jr.
Surviving are his loving wife, Robin (Pelrah) Luckwaldt; a daughter, Lindsay (Frank) Cullen of Syracuse; his son, Lawrence Luckwaldt, Jr. (Amanda) of Los Angeles, CA; 2 stepsons, Danny Vault of Fayetteville and Eric Visconti of Syracuse; stepdaughter, Arielle Visconti of Syracuse; his beloved grandchildren, Vincent Amorese, Gabriel Amorese and Liv Luckwaldt.
A celebration of Larry’s life will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2019 from 4 – 7 pm, upstairs at Dinosaur BBQ, Syracuse.
Larry’s family would like to thank the staff at Crouse Hospital, ICU, for their kind and compassionate care.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Larry’s name to CNY SPCA, 5878 E. Molloy Rd., Syracuse, NY 13211.
