Lena was one of the most compassionate people I have had the true pleasure of being close to. She had so much love to give to my mom (Mary Misita) & sister (Elaine Spear).
Our whole family is forever grateful to her for all the help she was with Mary. Lena made it possible for Mary to visit with us often by opening her home & taking care of her. Elaine & Lena always shared a special bond. So many memories of the store, Friendly's ice cream, Emmi's corn, our teasing while washing the dishes together, & our talks on the trips to Binghamton & Rock Hill. Lena was such a giving person. We are very lucky to have had her in our lives. We will all miss her.

Lena Alexander was one of the kindest women I have ever known. When I was starting out as a young legal secretary, her assistance in choosing the correct forms was immeasurable and she always went the "extra mile" to be of service. She & her late husband always had a smile and were a pleasure to know. My condolences to her family.
