Lester E. Recore, 75, of Liverpool, passed away at home on August 30, 2022. He was born in Malone, NY, son of the late Earl and Ella (Dame) Recore. Lester retired from Anaren Microwave after 47 dedicated years. After his retiremen Read Obituary
I worked with Les at Anaren (78-82) as I finished my degree at SU and for several years after...he was always happy and always willing to help this green engineer...he will be missd by many. Evan Kurtz
I Remember Lester as a Manager who saved my job at Anaren. I went to him when the company announced layoffs. I asked him if I was on the list. He told me he was know as the Godfather at Anaren and decided who stays and who goes. He assured me that my job was safe. I always remembered him for his mercy.
Now he will join those Anaren Employees who recently pass. Such a shame that a long retirement was not meant to be.

I remember seeing Uncle Les and visiting him and Aunt Deb when we went to Syracuse. Uncle Les you will be missed. We love you always.
I worked for Les for many years and can say he was the best supervisor ever! He always told me not to memorize things that you can write down and find later, he said not to clog my brain! 😊 Many lunches at his house, thank you Debbie! He was truly a great mentor! He will be missed!
