Lester E. Recore's Obituary
Lester E. Recore, 75, of Liverpool, passed away at home on August 30, 2022. He was born in Malone, NY, son of the late Earl and Ella (Dame) Recore. Lester retired from Anaren Microwave after 47 dedicated years. After his retirement, Lester found new purpose in meticulously caring for his yard and knowing exactly what was going on in the neighborhood. His grandchildren were always the focus of his thoughts and joy.
In addition to his parents, he is also predeceased by his brother, James Fleury and two sisters, Rebecca Greer and Madonna Stevens.
Lester is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Deborah (Jock) Recore; three sons, Joel E. (Samantha) Recore, Michael D. (Cassey) Recore and David E. Recore; four grandchildren; one step-grandchild; siblings, Wayne (Vicki) Recore, Lorraine (George) Moore and Rodney (Lori) Recore; his mother-in-law, Gladys Jandrew, brother-in-law, Edward Stevens, many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 from 10 am – 12 pm, followed by a funeral service in celebration of Lester’s life at 12:30 pm at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY. He will be laid to rest in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Baldwinsville, NY.
