Lillian L. (Labulis) Greenwood's Obituary
Lillian L. (Labulis) Greenwood, 94, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 4, 2025, at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Born in Syracuse, daughter of the late John and Weronika (Wojewoda) Labulis, she was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School and retired from Muench Candle Company after many dedicated years. Lillian enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, cooking, and most of all, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents, Lillian was predeceased by her husband, Morris Greenwood in 1995; her granddaughter, Jeanette Marie Greenwood in 2013; and her siblings, Mary Trivison, Jane Sufita, Raymond Labulis, Wanda Szymanski, and Joseph Labulis.
She is survived by her four children, Phillip (Mary Ann) Greenwood, Richard (Deborah) Greenwood, Robert Greenwood, and Elizabeth (Robert) Warren; grandchildren, Valerie Ann (William) Cogan, Andrea (Derek) Noffey, Richard (Erin) Greenwood, Jr., Scott (Aimie) Warren, Jeremy (Lisa) Warren, Jessica (John) Mastrobattista, and Sarah Warren; twelve great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at 9:00 A.M. at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. in St. John the Baptist/Holy Trinity Church, 406 Court St., Syracuse. Lillian will be laid to rest beside her husband in the Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, from 3:00 – 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (Corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY 13212.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Lillian’s memory may be made to St. John the Baptist Church, 406 Court St. Syracuse, NY 13208.
