Tootsie was such a wonderful light in our lives. She made my Poppa Slive and dad, Mike Slive, so happy with her incredible cooking, love and laughter she brought to us all. My father always talked about how Tootsie would make him sausage and peppers whenever he came to visit. She took such great care of Poppa, and for that, we will always be grateful to her. “Grandma Toots” as my girls called her was one of the sweetest woman we’ve ever known. She always had hugs and a smile for us and the laughs and jokes her and my husband shared. She was one classy lady and we will miss her very much. Our thoughts are with Peter and his family.

My sincere condolences go out to all of you during this tough tough time. My memory of Aunt Toots goes all the way back to Aunt Gert's house in N. Syracuse when we were just children. What a Sweet Lovable Lady she was and she showed her Love of people all the time and everywhere she went. A great Family friend to my family I will always remember her at the Restaurants she worked and she was always working too. Rest in Peace Aunt Toots for you earned it all your life.
