Not often in life does a person connect with someone immediately and remain connected throughout the years. Linda and my spirits recognized each other on the first day of school in September 1958 in Kindergarten in Miss Driscoll’s room at Salem Hyde School. We shared laughter, fishing, horseback riding, sleeping overs, meals, dancing , swimming, bowling, each other’s families, attended each other’s weddings, celebrated our children, shared good times and not so good times with each other, and supported each other in health as well as sickness. We never had a fight (although we had a disagreement once).
Linda was smart, multitalented, beautiful inside and out, caring and loving. Her husband snd children and grandchildren were her top priority. We loved each other for just being who we are and could always trust each other. There was no judgment of each other, just love and that love will continue even after we meet again.
My love and sympathy to Hulu all, Linda’s family, in the loss of her in your midst. But she will always be a part of your lives. Just listen for her and feel her presence.
I have been truly blessed in my life because of knowing Linda. And I’m blessed to count all of you as part of my family.
With much love,
