Linda Joy (Aloi) Camarda's Obituary
Linda Joy (Aloi) Camarda, 69, of North Syracuse, passed away peacefully with her loving family and her best friend, Mary Pat, by her side, on Thursday, March 9, 2023. She is now in the loving arms of her husband, in heaven. She was born in Syracuse on August 28, 1953 to the late Stephen and Marion Aloi and graduated from Henninger High School in 1971. Linda was a very loving wife and mother; she genuinely loved staying home and raising her kids. Having so much love to give, she was also a foster parent for several years. She enjoyed spending time in the sun, making beautiful stained glass, cooking delicious meals for her family, and always had a clean, organized home. The interior of her house was accented in purple, her favorite color. Any time you see a purple iris flower, think of Linda, it was her absolute favorite.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her loving husband of 51 years, Timothy James Camarda and her siblings, Stephen Aloi II and John Aloi.
Carrying on Linda’s legacy are her loving children, Timothy Camarda II, Kristian (Dianna) Camarda, and Kimberly Camarda; her 5 blessed grandchildren, Zachary Camarda, Tyler Greeno, Connor Camarda, Aidan Winslow, and Adelyn Winslow; her great-grandson, Kolton; her older sister, Cathie (Roger) Paradiso; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A calling hour will be held from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm immediately followed by a funeral service in celebration of Linda’s life at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse.
