Louis Joseph Bellotti, Jr.'s Obituary
Louis Joseph Bellotti, Jr., 76, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully on December 1, 2022, surrounded by loved ones. Lou was born in Solvay, NY on November 17, 1946, to Marguerite and Louis J. Bellotti, Sr.
He graduated from Solvay High School and furthered his education at Syracuse University, achieving bachelor’s and master’s degrees. Lou began his career in sales and launched several businesses including Bellotti Packaging Inc. (Bell-Pak) located in East Syracuse, NY. He enjoyed time spent on the golf course, the excitement of the casino, playing racquetball and watching SU and Buffalo Bills sports.
He was predeceased by his parents and two grandchildren, Bianca and Anna.
Louis is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Kathleen (Bokowski) Bellotti; his brother, Daniel Bellotti (Sharon); his three loving daughters, Rene Sabin, Stephanie Bresadola, and Karen Swartz (Robert); his four grandchildren, Tasha, Mia, Brooke, and Nico; great-grandchildren along with several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 from 2:00 – 3:45 pm, followed by a Funeral Service in celebration of Louis’ life at 4:00 pm at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Louis’ memory may be made to the Solvay High School Class of 1964 Scholarship Fund, c/o Dan Scaia, 5 Fuller St., Skaneateles, NY 13152.
