A memory that will always stand out for me. We would go out to the strawberry field and pick a bowl of strawberries before breakfast and Aunt Margaret would make us rice with strawberries. What was left strawberry shortcake for desert. Well us kids decided we would pick a crate. But she said they had to be fresh everyday so all 5 of kids ate everyone. We were so sick. She bathed us and tucked us in with our own bucket. But most the time she bought a pair of boys tennis shoes and they didnt fit the boys and said i needed them cuz she couldent take them back she knew i wanted a pair. And wasnt aloud to have them cuz i was a girl. But for some reason then shoes only fit me. Aunt Margaret always did things like that for me. and When i think of Aunt Margaret i can hear her call me LanaRae in her New York accdent makes me smile to hear her call me LanaRae! I will miss you Aunt Margaret, thank you for making me special. And thank You for My Uncle De you guys always showed me what Love is! and one day i will see you waiting there for me. Saying this way LanaRae this Way!
