My thoughts and prayers are with the Homola family and with Maria's circle of friends. I had a lovely visit with Maria and Laura when I was in Cicero in May. We had a nice chat and the three of us shared memories of my mom; who we lost in December. I took a tour of Maria's house - which I hadn't been in since childhood, and we looked at many photos of family, a knitting project or two and Maria's wonderful lighthouse collection.
My prayers are with the Homola family during this most difficult time. Maria was not only an outstanding secretary at the North Syracuse District Offices when I knew her but a very caring person. She loved her family very much and spoke of them often. Her smile was always contagious and made me a happier person whenever she greeted me.
I have great memories of Mrs. Homola from childhood. My condolences to her loved ones and friends.
Good memories of Mrs. Homola from our childhood on Button Road and when she was the Secretary at our school. Always so kind and sweet to us kids. My condolences to Bev, Jay, and Joe on your Mother's passing.
I grew up across the street from this special lady. She was a strong woman with a great big heart. My mom considered her a close friend and she was there for my mom, Jennie, many times in her time of need. I will always remember her fondly. My sincere condolences to Jay, Joe and Bev. Maria was a part of my Red Hat Chapter in Baldwinsville. I was the recipient of one of her knitted gifts. She always had a smile and an encouraging word for me. May you find comfort, family, in your memories of her.
She was a special lady who I met through my father Louis Guido. My husband Matt remembers her as a friendly, funny lady through his friendship with her sons.
