Dear Rosanne, Frankie & David and family
Don't know if you will remember us - Dick & Shirley, Denise, Patti, Rich and Scott (born after we moved to Favetteville) Miller Sorry to read of your Mom's passing - Rosanne, you look so much like her - I can see your little face when you were a little girl. We lived upstairs on Hickory Street and Dick would help your Dad collect trash on Friday nights from some produce company. My Mom & Dad moved in downstairs when you all moved to North Syracuse. You were friends with my niece Shirley Ann Johnson while attending Prescott School. I do have a few pictures on our 'get together's' in the back yard on Hickory St. among the grapevines out there. I remember all too well when your Dad passed - he died on March 3, 1964 and my Mom, Ann Dowding passed exactly 4 months to the day, August 3, 1964. I remember your father had a heart attack in the doctor's office with a 3 of hearts card in his pocket after he had just passed a physical for work only a few days earlier. We have lived in Chittenango for the past 44 years and are now both 82. The 'kids' are getting up there too. Shirley Ann lives in Chittenango also and is now retired - now 65. I could go on and it would take up some space but please feel free to contact me by email [email protected] or 687-7365. Know that you are in our prayers. Stay strong. God Bless - Shirley Miller and family
