Marie J. Dardano's Obituary
Marie Johnette (Nicita) Dardano, 94, of North Syracuse, passed away peacefully at James Square Health & Rehabilitation Center to go home with the LORD on Friday, August 19, 2016. Marie was born in Oberlin, Ohio and resided in North Syracuse for 55 years.
Marie was predeceased by her husband, Frank Dardano, Sr. in 1964; her parents, Rosalie and Carl Nicita, Sr., her sister, Ann (Nicita) Amie; her brothers, Joseph and James Nicita.
She is survived her daughter, Rose (Joseph) Braun of Syracuse; her sons, Frank (Margery) Dardano, Jr. of North Syracuse and David Dardano of St. Petersburg, FL.; her grandchildren, Adrianna Dardano and Michael (Christina) Braun; great grandchildren Bella Braun, Katianna Gunn and Jaden Buckley; her sisters, Theresa (Edward) Bucci of Camillus and Sister Carmel Rose Nicita, MFIC of Tenafly NJ; and her brother, Carl Nicita, Jr. of Liverpool; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 P.M. in St. Cecilia’s Church 1001 Woods Road, Solvay, NY 13209. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
