Debbie Babcock has said it all. There isn't much more I can say! After my daughter was born, I took a six-month leave of absence from work so I could be home with her. It was difficult knowing that I would eventually have to leave her and go back to work, and the worry of who I would find to watch her was insurmountable. I was given Mary Ann's name through a friend, as Mary Ann had watched her two children - it was the best thing that happened. After our first meeting with her at her home, there wasn’t a doubt in our minds - we knew that was exactly where we wanted Morgan to be. She was 8 months old at the time, and in the years to follow with Mary Ann as her caregiver, I never had an ounce of worry. Morgan looked forward to going there - and “there” she developed such a special bond with her and Debbie and Ashley. Mary Ann became a second grandmother to Morgan and a second mom to me. Picking up Morgan was never a quick in and out, as our conversations would be endless! The love and warmth that Mary Ann had for Morgan was so comforting and heart-warming. She became so much more than just a caregiver to us. Our family has SO many beautiful memories that we'll always hold close in our hearts forever. She was truly a God send!
To the Merluzzi family – Our love, thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time.
To Mary Ann- We can’t thank you enough for taking such wonderful care of our little girl and loving her like you did. We were blessed to have you in our lives. You will be truly missed! We love you!
