The Rehabilitation Department at James Square sends our sincere sympathies to the family on the loss of Mary. We loved Mary and cherished the time she spent with us. We would always know when she was about to arrive in therapy as she yelled out a "yoo-hoo" for all of us to hear. It is a memory we will always cherish. It was a blessing to have known Mary. I knew her from James Square,she was like a grandma to me.I never knew a person with so much energy and spunk,she was one of a kind. My dear,Cookie,I am so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing.I always enjoyed being in her company and cousin Carm's,they were always so much fun.She had a great attitude,if you liked her,fine and if you didn't like her,fine,also she didn't pull any punches,she told you just how it was.I admired her for that.I used to see her when I went to vote,at St.Daniels school.She recognized me right away the first time I saw her.I wish I had known she was at James Square,I would've gone to see her.I am sorry I couldn't make the wake,would've loved to have seen you and your family. So sorry to hear about Aunt Mary. I remember her visits with us on Oak Street. The times spent with Aunt Carm and Uncle Frank, and our family. Uncle Carl was the quiet one, she was the feisty one.
