Mary K. Camino's Obituary
Mary K. (Lanza) Camino, wife of 62 years to the late Carl N. Camino, passed away Tuesday at James Square surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 30, 1923 in Syracuse. Mary was employed for 12 years in the Syracuse School District, 25 years at the Eastwood Harrison Bakery and served as a Democrat Inspector for the Town of Salina for 20 years. Mary was a member of the Legion of Mary at St. Margaret's Church and the St. Theresa Society at Our Lady of Pompei. Other than her husband, she was predeceased by her brothers, James and Frank Lanza. Mary is survived by a daughter, Ralphleen (Edward) Camardo of Buffalo; a son, Thomas (Francine) Camino of Syracuse; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, two brothers, Samuel (Grace) Lanza of East Syracuse and Anthony Lanza of Liverpool; a sister-in-law, Ernestine Lanza of Syracuse and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 9:00 am in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME and 10:00 am in Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church, where a mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse on Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 pm.
