Mary (Lampreda) Emmi, 89, passed away peacefully on Monday comforted by her family. Mary was a wonderful and thoughtful mother, grandmother, sister and aunt who truly loved her entire family. Mary was the office manager for Silver Read Obituary

My deepest sympathy to you on your loss. I met Mrs. Emmi when I began working at Kress Drugs in 1986. She first was an employer but quickly became a special friend. She was there for me during the bad and the good times in my life.
Phone calls quickly became a daily ritual. If I was busy and didn't get to call her I always received a message on my answering machine inquiring if everything was okay with me. Even if I was out of town, I called her. She always enjoyed hearing about where I was and what I did. Especially on my trips to New York City she always was curious if I saw any famous people, meaning any of the her favorite New York Yankees!!!!
She was proud to be your mother, grandmother and sister and always shared the good things that were happening in your life.
I will miss our daily phone calls and my visits to her. She will always hold a special place in my heart.

Thinking of all the great memories of Grandma and I. From the baths in the kitchen sink when I was a little boy, to the games of war we used to play, to all food she used to cook at the holidays, and all the prayers she taught me when I was younger. Grandma would always pray for everyone in her life (pas or Present). She loved Annalisa and loved spending time with her. She made her smile and happy, especially during these last few days. We love you gram.
Annalisa is comforted knowing she has another guardian angel looking out for her... "God took Grandma's body up to heaven and sprinkled her with special stuff to make her an angel."
