Mary (Duggan) Fortino, of Cicero, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on July 14, 2020. She was born in Syracuse to the late Marie Lane and David B. Duggan and graduated from Moravia High School in 1 Read Obituary
I’m so sorry my dad and I missed the service .. my mom passed years ago and she and Doris And Mary and the husbands loved spending time together .. I remember Mary and how sweet she was and my mom Dorene and dad loved her so.

So sorry for your lost! I will remember Mary for her amazing smile and her happy attitude whether at church, at the grocery store or at her home when I would ask for her signature on a candidate petition. She would always invite me in and was eager to share her thoughts on politics and events of the day. She had a great sense of humor and we always had a few laughs during our quick chats. I will miss her in the neighborhood and I know she will be watching over all of you, especially her grandkids who she was always proud to talk about. She was such a kind soul!

Maria, David,Liz, I'm so sorry to hear of your mother passing. The world has lost one of God's good people. I'll always remember the fun we had growing up with all of you. Most of the other parents knew if we were at the Fortino, we were safe. I remember your father with his laugh and just watching all of us play. I remember having your mother for a substitute teacher, her smile just lite up a room. I remember going to your house before school and your mother would say ' Maria you need to get moving the bus will be here soon". She always has a smile to give you in the morning with her coffee. I remember playing baseball and both of your parents watching and laughing at all of us. Hard to think of with all the fun and some sad times, we had your mother to help if we needed her. I will keep all of you in my prayers. I know Mr. Fortino has been waiting for you to join him. Thank you for sharing your mother with all of us. ( just an old friend) Kelly
Many of my fondest memories are spending time at Aunt Mary and Uncle Bob’s house during summer and holidays- always had so much fun! I miss those times!

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of you mom. She was such a sweet woman and always had a smile on her face. It was easy to see how much she loved all of you.
