Mary Rose (Murray) Barton, 85, of Liverpool, passed away August 21, 2022 at Crouse Hospital. She was born in Honesdale, PA, daughter of the late Edward L. and Margaret Isabel (Ham) Murray. Mary received her bachelor’s degree in Ed Read Obituary
I knew Mary as the wife of my cousin Jim. We visited a few times years ago. I was trying to find her to visit this coming September on a trip to Seneca Falls. I am saddened that I missed seeing her. My sympathies to her children and grandchildren. She was a very fine woman.
I am a former neighbor of Mary's in Endwell NY. I remember her as a friendly lovely person who often promoted neighborhood get togethers. My condolences and prayers to Mary's family. She will be missed.

So sorry for your loss. We remember Mary fondly for not only her great baking, that Christmas stollen she sent us one year was devoured in minutes! ...but mostly for her love and devotion to her children and grandchildren, may she rest in peace.

Another great mentor has passed. One of what some of us called the three Mary’s who helped found Mom’s House, Birthright, Perpetual Adoration and the Nazareth Marian Center. I thank God for the many holy conversations and grace-filled advice I received from Mary over the years. Much love to the family who will miss their treasure here but know she is accessible to us all now and she will surely continue her work for Mary and Jesus on our behalf in Heaven.
Over 30 years of bridge games leaves many fond memories. We started playing in a bridge club before she and Jim were married, we both lived in Endicott and I moved to Florida. Mary was a loved parishioner of IHM but we shared her love at St. Rose. She was part of our rosary group and get togethers. We knew how to laugh, love and pray together. Over the past few years we have become close friends sharing our faith and life experiences. Mary has had a profound influence on all of us and will be deeply missed.
