Maryann (Christian) Cavale's Obituary
Maryann [Christian] Cavale, 56, arrived at her destination with our
Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, after a 27-year-war with kidney
disease and ovarian cancer, in which she had been victorious in
all her previous battles.
She married the love of her life, James A. Cavale Jr., of Syracuse, on
September 17, 1977 and they had their son, James A. Cavale III on
January 28, 1982. Although she leaves them behind on this earth,
they are thankful for the time they had, and cling to the same faith
that she had so strongly displayed throughout her years.
In addition to her undying faith in the gospel, her passion for health
& fitness helped her overcome countless battles against disease, receiving
two kidney transplants, amongst other treatments since her diagnosis
in 1985. She was able to grow her faith in Christ throughout the past
few decades at Believer's Chapel, where she was a member
of the church.
Maryann lived every breath for her son and until recently, the two talked
every day of his life. They were inseparable and still are… she will live
on through him in so many ways. One of which is through a clean drinking
water initiative that he has started in her name, to provide clean drinking
water wells in India, touching 500 lives for each $3,000 well that is built in
her name. For more information and donations, please visit
