Maryann (Manzi) Felicia's Obituary
Maryann (Manzi) Felicia, 95, passed away October 26, 2022 in Wilmington, DE. She was born in Syracuse, NY, daughter of the late August and Giacinta (Lampreda) Manzi. Maryann graduated from North High School and worked for General Electric, Learbury Clothing and Wegmans. She was a devout catholic and a member of St. Theresa Society and Mother’s Club at Our Lady of Pompei Church. Maryann was a member of Brooklawn Ladies Golf League, 9-hole golf league, and was an avid Syracuse basketball fan. She enjoyed cooking for family and friends and loved traveling with her husband.
Maryann’s house was always open to family and friends. Making her nearly daily trips to Wegmans, navigating around the store getting her special items, she would make the most amazing sauce, meatballs and pasta. Always plenty of food for everyone and told to “finish it up”! Don’t forget her famous egg and olive! The holidays were filled with her baking cookies throughout the years. She was most happy when her family was in her home, around her kitchen table.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Anthony S. Felicia, Sr., her son, Mark Felicia, and siblings, Joseph Manzi and Barbara Milazzo.
Maryann is survived by her son, Anthony S. Felicia, Jr. (Susan); Diane Longley; her grandchildren, Brian Felicia (Cordrey), Carrie Stammler (Dave), Heather Felicia (Derek), Charlene Perkins (Dennis), Anthony Felicia (Brittany), Ronnie Felicia, Meghan Beatson (Lenny), and Dylan Jeffery (Vickie); great-grandchildren, Will, James, Kylie, Cameron, Bella, Miles, Mason, Mia, Joseph, Luca, Fallon and Emme; two sisters, Antoinette Ventresca and Rose Ilacqua; several nieces and nephews.
