Merle E. (Davison) Basile, 90, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, October 27, 2016. She was born in Ogallala, Nebraska to the late Cyrus and Minnie Davison. Merle was the last surviving of nine children. She Read Obituary
Such a beautiful lady, never did I see her without a smile on her face along with open arms for whomever came through the door. A blessing that she is not suffering and is with those she loved in heaven.

My only personal interaction with Merle was through the Internet at Tom & Colleen's house. She was full of smiles and laughs. I'm sure she enriched the lives of all who knew her. Her special love is reflected in the children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren that I have met. She will be missed.
