Its always heartbreaking to suffer the loss of one of my classmates. Its particularly crushing to lose a beloved friend, especially one with such a great smile, fantastic sense of humor and charm, charm charm. Its impossible to be in a bad mood in his presence. I'll miss chatting about Samantha Fish shows. I'm sure I'll still look for him there, every time.

I met Mick many many years ago through a mutual friend. We played on the best co-Ed softball team called “The killer frogs”. Mick always had a smile on his face and was such a great guy. Between Mick, Bates, (Steve) Fly, Bruce, Deb and others we had a great time during and after the games. It was a privilege to have known Mick. My heart goes out to his family and to his dear friends. Mike (Mick) Bell a true member of th Harding Bowling Team. Ive known Mick since I was 12 years old. His football skills were incredible. In pick up games he could out run any of us. However he would rather run throgh you than by you. Some would say that Mick wasnt dedicatef to Liverpool High School football. That ca be debated but I will say he was dedicated to pissing off his coaches.
He was my Morrisville roomate from 19986 to 1988. He made my transition to college about as easy as it could be. Soon his college friends became mine as well.
Mick was the first person I called when I was engaged and when Laura and I were expecting our child Owen.
The amount of concerts we attended, games we watched together and the amount of time spent at Oswego Speedway were never dull. Not.many people know more about that Speedway than Mick Bell.
Mick was fearless and had an amazing skill to remember our past adventures in great detail.
He was my brother and best friend. Mick was a best friend to mamy people which is saying alot about who he was. I will miss his infectious smile but most of all I will miss my balls being busted by one of the best ball busters.
I will always love you Mick and always have a peice of you in my heart. The memories too awsome to ever forget. I could write a book but my Author has left the building

I met Mickey in 7th grade when my family returned from an ill fated move to Florida. In typical Mickey fashion, he got us both in trouble in English class. Mr. LaFave if my memory serves. From that point on we were great friends. This continued through the years with hundreds of fishing and hunting trips. Sharbot lake in Ontario Canada was one of, if not the, most special places for Mickey. Eric Teal once told us "There's no fire on the Queens land" as he extinguished our bonfire on an Island at Sharbot.... No one will extinguish the memory of one of my most special friends. Love you Mick. RIP
All my greatest memories at the track included Mike. So many of my most cherished rock n roll adventures were with Mike. He was such a good friend and truly a great person to be around. He had a way about him - things were always a little brighter and a little more fun when Mike was there. He will missed more than words can express. RIP my dear friend. Fly on with your rock n roll idols.
I've been a friend of Mike's for over 25 years. I worked with him at New York Food Brokers many years ago. He was a great worker, a great guy and a great friend. We had many many laughs over the years. I will miss you my friend. Rest In Peace, Mike.
My earliest memory of Mike is Liverpool Jaycee Football 2nd division and this kid on the other team running all over the field scoring touchdown after touchdown. On one particular play, I was the only thing between him and the end-zone. He plowed right over me for another. That kid was Mike. A few years later, in 9th grade, we became good friends. He also remembered this play very well and would recount it with a chuckle. It was during this period that Mike introduced me to the Jimi Hendrix "Axis, Bold as Love" LP. It has remained one of my favorite recordings. Mike was always a good guy. He was friendly to everyone and would often make you laugh with funny stories and commentary.
