Michael J. Bell's Obituary
Michael J. Bell, 53, of Mexico, NY, passed away at home on April 4, 2021. He was born in Syracuse and graduated from Liverpool High School, where he was a running back for JV and Varsity Football; he also received his associates degree from SUNY Morrisville. Michael worked as a Field Sales Rep for Unified Natural Foods. He loved area auto racing, especially going to Oswego Speedway with his dad, brother, and friends. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and looked forward to Tarpon fishing in the Florida Keys. Michael was an avid SU basketball and football fan and often watched the games with his friends; they would also meet up at concerts and festivals as well. Michael had a great sense of humor and an amazing recall telling stories about friends and family. He will be deeply missed.
He is predeceased by his father, Joseph Bell in 2020 and his sister, Linda in 1962. Michael is survived by his mother, Carolyn A. (O’Brien) Bell of Sun City Center, FL; his brother, Jeffrey Bell of Westfield, IN; several aunts and cousins, and many close, lifelong friends.
A Funeral Mass in celebration of Michael’s life will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, April 23, 2021 at Christ the King Church, 21 Cherry Tree Circle, Liverpool, NY. Private burial will take place in Assumption Cemetery.
