Michael J. Sacco's Obituary
Michael J. Sacco, 50, of East Syracuse, passed away on Sunday at Community General Hospital after a brief illness surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Syracuse and was a graduate of Syracuse University School of Management. Michael was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church in Fayetteville. He was employed with UTC Carrier Corporation for 17 years. He was predeceased by his mother, Mary J. (Cammuso) Sacco on June 3, 2011. Michael is survived by his loving wife, Kristine A. (Walerski) Sacco; 3 children, Michael J. Sacco, II, Joseph M. Sacco, II and Nicole M. Sacco; his father, Joseph Sacco of Syracuse; brothers, Patrick S. Sacco of Liverpool and William E. Sacco of Amherst, NY; sister, Elaine M. Sacco of Rochester; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday AT 9:45 AM in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse and at 11:30 am in Immaculate Conception Church, Fayetteville. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 to 8 pm. Contributions may be made to Multiple Sclerosis of CNY, PO Box 237, East Syracuse, NY 13057 or to a favorite charity.
