Michael F. Spaulding, 62, of Syracuse, passed away Sunday at St. Joseph's Hospital. He was born in Syracuse, the son of the late Herbert and Annabell (Ralph) Spaulding and was a graduate of St. Vincent de Paul High School. Mike wa Read Obituary
Although I haven't seen, or talked to Mike in over 40 years, when I saw his Obituary, I dusted off a long forgotten shelf of memories in my mind.....Sister Vincent Agnes smacking Mike's knuckles with a ruler.....we were all bad....but he's the one who got caught.....the ever-present smile and laugh that I have never forgotten....even 4 decades, and thousands of miles away. Rest in peace Michael, and I'll see you on the other side......the way we were back then...................:)

I wanna say Mike was a GREAT MAN and very kind to my little four year old son whenever we went into the bottle return. My son ask about him when we go by, wonder how mike is dad, and now i will tell my son he went to heaven. Mike again thank you for being such a nice man may you rest in peace. God Bless

While it has been many years (too many to count) we are deeply sadened to hear of Mike's passing. We have fond memories of the time our paths crossed and the fun we all had together. What can I say. I have so many wonderful memories of Michael. Especially, him feeding and holding his precious babies while watching his beloved sports. He was truly a good man and never said a bad word about anybody. I know it is very hard to say good-bye to him, Diane and family, but you know he is in a much better place now. I wish I could be there. Just know that you will have a special Guardian Angel helping you along your life's journey. May God give you peace.
