Michael F. Spaulding's Obituary
Michael F. Spaulding, 62, of Syracuse, passed away Sunday at St. Joseph's Hospital. He was born in Syracuse, the son of the late Herbert and Annabell (Ralph) Spaulding and was a graduate of St. Vincent de Paul High School. Mike was the General Manager at Plank Road Bottle Return. He also coached and volunteered at the concession stands for Eastwood Little League. Mike was an avid NY Yankees and SU sports fan. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Mike is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Diane (Messina) Spaulding; his four sons, Michael (Danielle Goss) Spaulding of Syracuse, Matthew (Christina) Spaulding of Clay, Aaron (Mikki Brooks) Spaulding of Syracuse and Ryan Spaulding of Syracuse; four grandchildren, Alivia, Saedee, Isabella and Cole; his other special family members, Louise Messina, Tommy and Donna (Messina) Johnson, David, Andrew and Travis Johnson, Joe Messina; two brothers and a sister along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service in celebration of Michael's life will be held on Thursday at 6:30 pm in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME on Thursday from 4:00 to 6:30 pm.
