"Concert Mike" enjoyed live music, attending over a hundred concerts around the country. "Vacation Mike" loved trips to Nashville and Franklin, TN, Myrtle Beach, Key West, Lake Placid and the Adirondacks with family and friends. He liked to spend his free time researching stocks and the economy and was specifically interested in how crypto currency would play a role in the new economy. Above all, Michael enjoyed the life that he had made with the love of his life, Dawn. His two greatest accomplishments were his sons, Connor, and Jared. He was a proud father that shared his love of baseball with his family. The biggest reward for Michael was to watch his sons develop into the fine young men they have become today.
Michael was predeceased by his father, Thomas Stanton.
He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Dawn (Diaz) Stanton; his children, Connor, and Jared; his mother, Cynthia (Bergan) Stanton; his brothers, Douglas, Brian (Jennifer) and Jon (Jennifer) Stanton; his sister-in-law, Anne (Ray) Perry; his uncle, Joe David; along with several loving nieces and nephews.
