Minnie has been my mother-in-law for 40 years. I lost my own mother, Elaine, some 22 years ago, and Minnie filled that huge void in my life. Having been widowed just 3 years after Sam and I were married, Minnie simply became a part of our family, sharing in so many wonderful moments and life events. Her love for her children and grandchildren was immeasurable. She helped each of us through tough times, always supportive, and asked for nothing in return. She was fiercely independent and headstrong, which frustrated us at times, but her determination was to be admired and respected. I am eternally grateful to have had her for so many years, for the fun times we spent on car rides, vacations, and at the cottage. Minnie will always hold a special place in my heart.
Rest in peace, Ma
Terri
