Natalina "Natalie" (Locastro) Losurdo's Obituary
Natalina “Natalie” (Locastro) Losurdo, 96, of Syracuse, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at St. Camillus. Everyone referred to her as “Nani”. She was born on Christmas Day in 1923 in Syracuse, NY, daughter of the late Egidio and Francesca (Raite) Locastro. Cooking was her life, although spending time with her family always came first. She previously worked for Julius Resnick Pocketbook Factory and McMillon Book Co.
Natalina is predeceased by her husband, Carmen F. Losurdo in 2009, and five siblings, Antoinette Sorbello, Angelo Locastro, Rose Manino, Angie Scerbo and Sam Locastro.
She is survived by two daughters, JoAnn (Gary) Estock of Baldwinsville and Fran (Ronald) Gonzalez of Naples, Florida; her son, Joseph (Margaret) Losurdo of Syracuse; six grandchildren, Natalie (Frank) LaPuma, Ronald (Maria DiFulio) Gonzalez II, Matthew (Alexa) Estock, Joseph (Christina Ton) Losurdo, Leah (Greg) Distin and Catherine Losurdo (Steven Tomeno); four great-grandchildren, Frankie Carmen LaPuma, Olivia Marie LaPuma, Amelia Distin and Athan Estock, along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family would like to thank the staff at St. Camillus and PACE CNY.
Private funeral services entrusted to THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME. She will be laid to rest in Assumption Cemetery.
