Nicholas Zervas' Obituary
On Monday, August 3, 2020, Nicholas Zervas (Zaverdinos), loving husband, father, and Papou (grandfather) passed away after battling Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease.
Nick was born in Lefkas, Greece and came to the United States when he was a young child. He went to Central Tech High School and worked in the clothing and retail industry for most of his life. Nick married Ann, his high school sweetheart on July 31, 1965 and they were married for 55 years. He enjoyed bowling and was an avid fan of the NY Yankees and SU athletics. Nick loved being with his family and was a kind and gentle soul.
He is predeceased by his parents, Elias and Evangelia (Armatas) Zaverdinos. Nick is survived by his wife, Anna (Martellotta) Zervas; his daughter, Nicole Zervas Adsitt and son-in-law, Michael; granddaughters, Hannah and Lily.
Private funeral services entrusted to THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME.
